According to the release, one employee (yes, just one) “hid” 154 million in delivery expenses. Not just this year, or last year, but since 2021.

Next thing you know, they’ll be saying there was a monster under the fragrance counter….

Let’s stop pretending that this massive fraud was perpetrated by one rouge employee.

What this story reveals is an ugly, and well-known truth: Corporate America is corrupt, and struggling companies think nothing of “cooking the books,” to stay afloat.

I expect more of these outings in the coming years. Workers are becoming more and more impatient with flaccid corporate “leaders,” and management who will do anything but change.

The slow grind to an end of a once great brand.
