I read the original piece in the WSJ, and felt myself vacillating between disgust and admiration. What these guys (and yes, it's men), need to know is that they're absolutely NOT fooling anyone. The word, "Slacker," is being associated with them (and not because of Slack). They're letting both of their team(s) down. Employers are hesitant to fire because they don't want to seem insensitive to Covid trials and tribulations (plus it's hard to find people), but trust me, a whole bunch of people know you're not pulling your weight, and literally phoning it in, and it WILL catch up to you...
