Corporate America is not in a good place….

1 min readDec 5, 2024

There’s a noticeable hush on LinkedIn, and other corporate sites about Brian Thompson, CEO of United Health Care, who was expertly gunned down in Manhattan yesterday.

We all know the motive. What’s different is that there’s astonishingly zero sympathy for this man and what he represents. The collective shrug of, “He had it comin’,” pretty much says where corporate America is these days, and it’s not in a good place….

This is a shot heard ‘round the world, and a post-capitalist wake-up call to every single corporate executive. I fully expect to see more of these hits in the coming decade. (Gangsters need healthcare, housing, and food, too. ) And, if judged by a jury of peers, it’s is clear the collective views the shooter as a victim, and Brian as the perp….

Human rights before Shareholder Value. Time to get them in the right order.
